Art Deco sterling silver travelling / folding clock, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1934. This is a lovely silver folding clock in a square case with fine engine turned decoration and a suspension ring. The clock face is marked HL Brown, London and Sheffield’ and Swiss Made. The case is 1-1/2 inches / 38 mm x 1-1/2 inches / 38 mm when closed (not including the suspension ring) and it weighs 55 grams. The case has clear hallmarks – lion passant, anchor for Birmingham, letter K for 1934 and maker’s mark SSM. The clock is in excellent condition. It is fully working.
